1/2 cup Apple Cider
1/2 cup water
1/4 cup Captain Morgan Pumpkin Spice Rum
1/4 cup Fireball Cinnamon Whisky
One 0.3 oz. packet of Orange flavored gelatin mix (Vegans: use preferred Vegan-friendly gelatin mix)
1 TBSN Pumpkin Pie Spice (you can use store bought or see my recipe for making your own Pumpkin Pie Spice)
Shot glasses or novelty ice cube tray, small cooking pot, whisk, syringe
Prep: 5 min Ready: 5 min Serves: 20-30 shots
Before you handle any food, wash your hands thoroughly with soap and water. Clean your kitchen work area and pull back your hair or wear a cap. You want to avoid contaminating your meal with harmful bacteria that could cause food illness.
To make Pumpkin Spice Fireball Gelatin Shots:
1. Combine Whiskey and Spiced Rum in a measuring cup and place in freezer for 30 minutes.
2. In a small pot, add water and Pumpkin Pie Spice. Place on medium heat until boiling. Reduce heat to simmer and stir.
3. Sprinkle gelatin and let it dissolve in the simmering water, stirring constantly using a whisk while it simmers for 2 minutes.
4. Remove from heat and stir in chilled Fireball Cinnamon Whisky and Spiced Rum.
5. Use a syringe to add mixture carefully into shot glasses or themed ice cube molds.
6. Refrigerate overnight.
7. Remove from molds (if used) and serve chilled on a platter.
